Coyote Country Cabinets

I am Tom Bachman and I started Coyote Country Cabinets 20 years ago to help pay for my hobby of woodworking. It has become much more than that, now I don't seem to have enough time for my hobby. It has provided me with good tools as I try to upgrade and add to my shop inventory.

My stationary power tools are mainly Rockwell /Delta. Although the tools are mainly old (my 14" bandsaw was manufactured in 1944) 0ld doesn't make them bad or out-dated. Most of my portable power tools are Porter-Cable/ Rockwell, although I have some Bosch, Dewalt and Makita.

The majority of my work has moved toward traditional cabinetry (plywood frame and carcase), I really prefer to do custom furniture in solid wood. My repertoire includes custom lathe turnings, to tables & chairs, commercial and institutional cabinetry, residential cabinetry and craft items. My interest is in the Craftsman, Mission or Arts and Crafts style furniture of Gustav Stickley, L & J. G. Stickley, the Stickley Bros and the Roycrofters. The Arts and Crafts movement in the United States was driven by these people and their ideas and philosophy have endured through the years. For more on the Arts and Crafts movement you can visit Founders of the Arts and Crafts movement home page. To view some of my work click here.
